Dear Community:
Sparc is investing in the Hamline Midway, North End and South Como!
Minnesota's inner cities suffer from a lack of investment capital for a wide variety of reasons. Sparc is working
to change that trend in our neighborhoods of Saint Paul. We ask community members what the issues are and what
investments are needed, then seek to bring those resources to the neighborhoods.
In 2005, Sparc invested $1.49 million in the transformation of our communities. More importantly, every $1
we invested was matched by $2 of investment by homeowners, business owners and property owners. This commitment
shows the belief in the future of Saint Paul by the people who live and work here.
The
results of Sparc's investments are multiplied
by others who build upon the confidence and spirit
generated through Sparc's programs. Many
homeowners and business owners are investing in
the future of their community by investing in
the Hamline Midway, North End and South Como neighborhoods.
